Free Trial Lesson

Register below for a free trial lesson to see if vaulting is a good fit for you or your child. One free lesson per participant.

Please print and fill out waiver below and bring it to class, we will have paper copies at the barn too.

Vaulters should wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty- leggings and t-shirts are perfect. If the weather is cold - sweaters, sweats over leggings, gloves, toques and coats. Vaulters typically wear soft soled vaulting shoes, dance shoes or ballets slippers but for a trial lesson, runners are perfectly acceptable. We do have a selection of shoes at the barn to borrow for class if needed, water shoes work well too. Bring a water bottle to class.

As helmets impede a vaulters movements and can pose a risk, they are not worn for the sport of vaulting as sanctioned by the governing body - Equestrian Canada. New vaulters will always start with safety lessons on the practice barrel first and once on the horse will begin at walk with a coach within arm’s reach.
